For British bosses heading to Burundi it just got a little bit easier. From April 22 2007 Brussels Airlines will operate a weekly Brussels to Bujumbura long-haul service – the only direct flight on this route. Until now passengers venturing as far a field as Burundi had to travel over 16 hours and change flights – the new service makes the journey smoother and cuts flying time significantly too. The outbound flight is eight hours 20 minutes, while the inbound flight takes 11 hours.
