A revealing survey finds that salary is the most important thing to the majority of PAs – more so than a good working relationship. The research, from OfficeTeam, found that over half of all UK personal assistants claim their salary is the main reason to change jobs, while 79 per cent of respondents consider it to be the most important factor in their job. The survey also offered valuable insight into the role of the PA with the majority (80 per cent) acknowledging that their boss shows them respect and appreciation for the job they do. And the best way to show respect? According to 66 per cent of you it’s demonstrating trust, coming second is saying thank you (58 per cent) and asking for an opinion (33 per cent).
