The truth is out: Australian office workers aren’t as tech-savvy as you might believe, with an overwhelming 61 per cent of them admitting to confusion over the functionality of their office printers. The research, commissioned by Konica Minolta, also revealed that 31 per cent of respondents said they knew there were functions that they could be using but had never tried them while 5 per cent admitted to be at a total loss over their printer’s inner most workings. “Australian workers use their office printer, on average, 21 times a day,” commented national marketing manager for Konica Minolta, John Venett. “For such a regularly used piece of equipment, it seems that many users are perhaps intimidated by the applications and functions available to them.”
