The Westin Melbourne hotel has furthered cemented its position as one of Australia’s premier hotels thanks to winning two state tourism industry awards last month. At the prestigious Victorian Tourism Awards The Westin Melbourne scooped the top prize in the Luxury Accommodation category, for the second consecutive year running, and at the 2007 Australian Hotels Association (AHA) Awards for Victoria it received the Best Deluxe Hotel award. The hotel will now go on to represent Victoria in each award category at the 2008 national awards. The recent awards mean that the Westin Melbourne is now regarded as the most awarded Westin property in the world – collecting accolades at both state, national and international level.
