The much anticipated launch of Tiger Airways’ service to Alice Springs has been delayed by three months. The low cost carrier had planned to commence services on the route on December 1 but the airline has blamed Qantas for the set back, who were unable to provide ground handling services for Tiger Airways at the Alice Springs airport. The launch is now expected to be March 1 and for those passengers who have already been issues tickets for a flight that has been delayed a full refund will be made along with a $50 voucher for a future flight as a good will gesture.
