Australian workers are making their voices heard and saying they want pay rises this year, and if they don’t receive them employers must be prepared to risk losing their staff. A recent survey has revealed that more than 65 per cent of employees are expecting a salary rise this financial year, despite the Government’s warning that pay rises need to be on hold to help curb inflation. Of those people who responded to the survey a third announced they would leave a job if they didn’t see an increase in their pay packet.
