Aussies travellers are feeling reasonably confident when it comes to taking to the air – with standards of aviation safety being perceived to be better than in the US or in Canada, according to a recent poll. A Roy Morgan study of 1500 travellers by Civil Aviation safety Authority found that more than half of those questioned felt safer on Australian internal flights than on flights in America or Canada, with just over a quarter saying Australia’s standards were similar to the US and Canada.
