For years Mondays have got a bad rep – they’ve been traditionally considered as the most miserable day of the week perhaps due to that fact it’s the day many people return to work after a relaxing, work-free weekend. But researchers at the University of Vermount have now revealed that actually Mondays are the second happiest day of the week! Studying 2.4million blogs and messages left on social networking sites over the last four years the researchers studied the number of positive and negative words to reveal that it’s actually Wednesdays when we’re at our most miserable. It seems come the middle of the week all happy memories of the weekend have faded and we’re still only half way through the daily grind of work.
