It’s third time unlucky for Sydney Airport, which has once again been named the country’s least popular airport while, airport users have rated Brisbane Airport the most popular for the fifth year running. Despite the dubious hat trick Sydney is one of two – the other being Melbourne – airports in the country that has seen the highest increase in passenger traffic – with an extra 1.8million travellers using each airport in the 2007-2008 period.

Following Brisbane in first place is Adelaide, Perth then Melbourne. Airport users were asked to assess a range of points from their experiences including security checkpoints, car parking and waiting in the check-in queue
