There are a lot of great things about being a woman. Our in-built ability to multi-task, our appreciation of the merits of Jimmy Choos, for instance. But here’s something we don’t like. A new report from AMP Financial Services has found that over their lifetime Australian men have the potential to earn a staggering $1million more than their female counterparts. The gap for those born between 1946 and 1964 is largest – with women earning a whopping 13 per cent less than men, while women in born in Generation Y (1979-1995) have it best earning just 0.6 per cent less than men. Just imagine what you could do with an extra $1million!
