Are you feeling neglected? If the results of a new survey from Aequalis Consulting are to be believed then the answer is likely to be yes. Aussies workers have admitted to neglecting workers as they have been focused on the economic downturn. When questioned about the staff issue they have focused on this 40 per cent said cutting staffing numbers, 23 per cent responded increasing responsibility for staff and just eight per cent stated they’d been focusing on managing employees’ stress levels. Over 70 per cent confessed they had failed to focus on retaining excellent workers. A second survey revealed that workers are feeling sidelined:
 

  • 62% admitted that staff morale has decreased
  • 56% said they were not receiving the necessary training to do their job
  • 45% revealed they don’t trust their management team
  • 38% said they do not understand their job description
