You might have only been back at work for a few weeks but it seems already that many workers are thinking about finding a new job. Whether it’s returning to the reality of the 9-5 grind, making a new year’s resolution to land a better paid job or just fancying a change, the survey from Martin College was rather revealing. Nearly three quarters of Aussie employees are dissatisfied with their careers and would like a change, while a not insignificant nine per cent of workers actually hate their current job. All in all only 22 per cent of survey respondents said they were happy with their careers indicating that 2010 could be a year of big changes. With renewed optimism returning to the job market it seems this year could see many people moving on to pastures new.
