Experience Sydney's newest sparkling waterfront venue...

If luxury and environmental responsibility are equally important to you when planning events, the wait is over. You are invited to be one of the first to experience Sydney’s most inspiring new event venue, Sergeants’ Mess.

Sergeants’ Mess is a brand new, purpose-built event and conference venue set in stunning Chowder Bay (Mosman). Located just 15km from the Sydney CBD on the water’s edge in national park, the former 1960s military building has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation, transforming it from a deserted army barracks into the ultimate venue for corporate events of all styles – from conferences to gala dinners, cocktail parties and board meetings. Owned and operated by the Tea Room Group, who brought us The Tea
Room QVB and The Tea Room Gunners’ Barracks, Sergeants’ Mess boasts a range of spaces and configurations, all offering breathtaking harbour views, elegant intricacies of design, extensive facilities and world-class dining. The venue’s unique natural surrounds also offer the opportunity for ‘business to meet nature’ – allowing guests to free their minds among the privacy and tranquillity of a bush-land and harbour setting.

As such, Sergeants’ Mess is also setting an industry benchmark by implementing a range of initiatives to reduce its environmental impact. The use of solar hot water, rainwater tanks, state of the art low energy kitchen appliances, low wattage lighting and a unique 100 mile food and wine menu where 99 per cent of ingredients are sourced within 100 mile radius of the venue, are just some of the steps Sergeants’ Mess is taking to ensure that your event is not only spectacularly impressive, but in tune with nature.

READER EVENT
On October 28th, at 5:30pm, you will be transported in style to Sergeants’ Mess from one of two locations (Circular Quay or Milson’s Point) via H2o Water Taxis*. You will then arrive at Chowder Bay private wharf in time for twilight cocktails on the venue’s expansive harbour deck at 6pm. Or you can choose to transport yourself to the venue via road. Browse the venue’s majestic spaces while enjoying Mezzanine Wines, entertainment and Sydney’s first 100 mile canapé menu, created by head chef Robert Crichton. Learn about how the food miles travelled from ‘farm to fork’ affect the environment, and how serving a seasonal and locally-sourced menu not only supports local farmers, but also provides a unique opportunity to educate your guests and demonstrate your company’s commitment to the planet and its welfare.

You will also hear from sustainability consultancy Republic of Everyone who will provide additional tips on how to ‘green’ your next event. Every attendee at this exclusive event will receive a gift bag and the chance to win lucky door prizes including a champagne afternoon tea for four at The Tea Room QVB and an all-natural makeup and skincare pack from Inika Cosmetics and Mukti Botanicals. The event will conclude at 8pm at which time you can travel back to Circular Quay or Milson’s Point via complimentary H2o Water Taxi*. Regular taxis can also be arranged upon request.

Spaces are limited so RSVP early to reserve your spot. We look forward to seeing you there! Email readerevents@executivepa.com.au now to reserve your space.

*Please note, all water taxis are now fully booked for the evening. We do still have limited spaces to attend, but you will need to make your own travel arrangements.
