Melbourne & Olympic Parks presents new event spaces at Executive PA Summit

Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP), home of the Australian Open Tennis Grand Slam Championship, is set to showcase its new conference and events centre at the Executive PA Summit, to be held in Brisbane’s Royal International Convention Centre on 30 April 2019.

Located on the south-east edge of Melbourne’s vibrant CBD, M&OP’s new conference and events centre – now open for bookings and scheduled for completion in 2022 will join the precinct’s impressive line-up of world-class venues.

The centre’s architectural design will pay homage to the classic Australian landscape, while its food and beverage offerings are set to include award-winning Victorian wines and locally sourced seasonal produce, promising to elevate the Parks’ capabilities.

“At the core of any event is experience. The industry has changed so much over the last decade, it has seen new challenges for both Buyers and Executive PAs alike. Our redevelopment is built for the future of events – giving event organisers the perfect canvas to create more meaningful, powerful and memorable moments,” said Lara Burnes, General Manager, Premier Events & Experiences.

“We’re proud to showcase our newest conference and events space at the Executive PA Summit. Located in the heart of Melbourne Parks, the new centre offers functionality and flexibility for both large-scale and intimate events – all while capturing the magnetic atmosphere of our dynamic city.”

The impressive architectural concept includes 8.5-metre-high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, projecting natural light across a generous 2000 sqm pillarless ballroom and 800 sqm pre-function area. Across two levels, the upper floor will feature a 250-seat auditorium, an abundance of breakout rooms and an outdoor terrace with uninterrupted views of Melbourne’s skyline.

M&OP will also showcase at the New Zealand Executive PA Summit, to be held at the Pullman Auckland on 9 May 2019. Only a few spaces remain, so apply today.
