Qantas Frequent Flyers will once again be able to earn points by dining at selected restaurants, following the airline’s reboot of its Qantas Restaurants program.
The airline has partnered with a worldwide booking platform called Quandoo, which connects diners to restaurants. Frequent Flyers can earn 100 points per person, per booking if they book through the restaurant portal on qantas.com or via the airline’s app.
Qantas’ previous program was only for bookings made at Australian venues. However, the new partnership has expanded its scope and now covers 18,000 restaurants over 12 countries.
“We know how much our frequent flyers like to dine out, so rewarding them with Qantas Points for eating at their favourite local restaurant or somewhere special while they’re on holiday is going to be a real drawcard,” Qantas Loyalty Chief Executive Officer, Olivia Wirth said.
